The Office of the Borough President has a responsibility to advocate for the entire Borough of Staten Island and all its residents, and represents the Borough's interests within City government. The office also runs Visit Staten Island, the borough’s official tourism campaign and website.

Friends of Postcards is a project of the Fund for the City of New York (FCNY), which serves as its fiscal sponsor. FCNY was established by the Ford Foundation in 1968 with the mandate to improve the quality of life for all New Yorkers. FCNY is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code.

National September 11 Memorial & Museum
Through commemoration, exhibitions and educational programs, The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, a nonprofit in New York City, remembers and honors the 2,983 people killed in the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993, as well as those who risked their lives to save others and all who demonstrated extraordinary compassion in the aftermath of the attacks.
